Dr REBUILD's Corvette 63-82 AC Receiver Drier & Accumulator
Receiver Dryers & Accumulators remove moisture from the air.
TIP: after operating the AC for several minutes examine the sight glass on top of the drier. The freon should be clear or may show an occasional bubble at high temperatures. Lots of bubbles mean the refrigerant is low. Dirt, foam or oil streaks indicates a leak. The desiccant powder used in these dryers is compatible with either R12 or R134 freon.
