Lime Rock Chevy Powered Vintage Racers
Lister is a great buxom British model with room for a big bore V8 or big straight 6 rather than the usual 4 cylinder models like MG, TR, etc. Close your eyes and the ones with V8 Chevy small blocks sound just like Corvettes.
Three different Listers were raced. #738 had a dohc Jag-u-are powerplant; next the Blue #62 a 1959 Lister had a 5555 cc / 338 ci. Chevy small block. The rear Yellow is a 1958 Lister with 5687 cc / 347 ci. Chevy small block.
1958 Lister/Chevy with 5687 cc / 347 ci. Chevy small block.
# 58 the same Lister/Chevy as above.
I love the tube headers on this beauty.
The #58 1958 Lister/Chevy with a 5687 cc / 347 ci. Chevy small block.
#62 a 1959 Lister/Chevy with a 5555 cc / 338 ci. Chevy small block.
When you think of a Tripower, don't forget these Listers. Love the headers and check out the wheels.
I'd like to get a set of these for my 1956.
1959 coil over front suspension.
The same 1959 Lister/Chevy.
#138 Lister/Jag was not listed in the program.
Just for comparison, this is the Lister/Jag which was not in the program.
To the left, #16 a 1961 Cooper T53 and on the right and below a McLaren/Chevy.
#165 a beautiful McLaren/Chevy. It was not listed in the program.
Saturday the body was removed, revealing this concise arrangement.
I asked the owner and he said it was a 302 cu Chevy small block.
#6 a 1959 Lola T70 Mk 3B with a 358 ci Chevy small block.
Spartan race like interior.
At practice Friday the #6 Lola was curve-a-licious in the esses followed by #3 a 1971 Chevron B19.
This Lola got a bit off course, but was not damaged, except for pride.
This Chevy powered #723 was butt ugly, but every child should have a mother that loves her. It's the 1959 Eno De Pasquale Chevy Special with a 5555 cc or 339 ci small block.
1959 Maserati T61 on left; 1959 Chevy Special on the right.
I don't know what this was, it was not in the program. But its has those sensual curves I like.
