 This 1968 big block
powered vintage racer was freshly prepared for vintage racing, but did not
enter any events or practice. | ||
 When I asked if it
would run; a fellow stated it was not yet 100% complete and things like
a dry or wet sump would be left for the new owner to decide. | ||
 Of all the Corvettes
present for sale (admittedly small), this was the one my wife was most interested
in. | ||
 This was identified
as a fresh 454 Chevy crate motor, selected for reliability. | ||
 The door handle pushbuttons
are one of the only clues that this was a 1968 model. | ||
 Both the front
and rear clips were easily removed by unscrewing just a few fasteners. The
entire floor pan was replaced with metal. It was clean. | ||
 All my wife had to
do was see this sign and I could see my 401K being ravished. | ||
