and Ed Collins told us about the following weekends
1st Annual Corvette & Aeroplane Show at the Owls Head Maine Museum of Transportation.
And you know, we were already half way there, so it would have been a shame
to miss this event. And I'm glad we visited the 150+ models they had on
display. Really, for 10 bux you could visit the museum exhibits, the outdoor
car show and the antique aeroplane acrobatics and show. What a good old
Yankee value. 10 bux. | ||

One thing I noticed in Maine was the large displays of US flags. In all
my travels, few other places seem to have any flags flying. In Maine I saw
one after another. Elsewhere you are lucky if you see one. I like Maine. | ||
