Sebring 12 Hour Race 2007 March 14-18

It all starts here for me: the Corvette garages in the paddock. These were again conveniently located to the rear of the the Press Box / Control Tower. Team #3 on the left and #4 on the right. My Green cabriolet in the foreground.

The end of pit lane for a qualifying session on Thursday. The eventual GT2 winning Red Ferrari and the GT1 #3 and #4 C6R Corvettes. My Machine Silver C6 is to the far right; a short walk to work each AM.

Thursday afternoon after qualifying the Corvettes undergo tech inspection at the IMSA tent in the paddock right inside of turn 17. Knowing the routine they follow makes it easier to keep up with their pace.

In the first few minutes of the race Saturday morning. This year I missed the start. The free 4"x6" small guest guide booklet I use to know the schedule of events had the wrong time printed inside. Duhhhhhh.

ABOVE: The race started at 10 AM not 10:45 as above. I was ticked. I missed the start !
