BEGIN QUOTE 04-27-2000 "Last week I placed an order with
the Dr., the total was $184 and some change. I wait a week, and finally
get the parts via the U.S. postal service. On the invoice it says it was
shipped via UPS-Ground, which translates into $11.95 according to his catalog.
I look on the box it was shipped in, and the postage to mail it cost him
$4.60. I call the Dr. to ask about it. Now for the good part, I politely
read the part to him where it says "We DO NOT ship via the U.S. Mail;
it costs too much, takes too long & is difficult to trace a lost package".
He then tells me that since this catalog was printed the policy has changed,
and that the shipping is based on "value of the shipment"...what
a joke. Sure, it's only a few dollars, but its the principle that smells
bad to me. Of course I was told that if I wasn't happy, he would refund
my money. Am I being petty here, or did I get ripped off? "
Mr. Kazilionis called to complain about our method of
shipping and then tried to black mail us. Our shipping rate for his order
was exactly as advertised in our catalog. He then began to say we overcharge
him. In fact we charged him the rate as shown in our catalog, $ 9.95 exactly.
I explained to him in his phone call, our policy on shipping
via the US mail had changed. It changed when the US Post Office offered
"Priority Mail". It offered 2 to 3 day delivery services nationwide
and even Saturday delivery without the additional cost. They even offer
a method of tracking packages called "Deliver Confirmation."
UPS raised their rates in February 1999 and Dr Rebuild did not. The rates
posted in our catalog Volume 27 have been
the same for Volumes 26, 25,
24, 23, 22 and 21. Our
rates had not changed in 7 years and that is exactly what he was charged.
I even offered him a complete refund. But he wanted not only a refund,
he also wanted to keep the parts. Because we were not - in his words: "bending
over", he decided to continue his lie on the Corvette Forum and
that is where this crude pervert repeated his lie two months later.
QUOTE 06-26-2000 " It's gotta be the short penis syndrome.
He ripped me off once with shipping charges. Never again for me, but he'll
tell you to send it back if you're not happy......right..... not bending
over for him. I can prove the shipping thing."
I did not discover his statements on the Internet until
months later. Because he totally inflated the sale amount and the
shipping charges. It took months to track this pervert down and identify
him, because he completely falsified those dollar amounts for both the
sale and the shipping. It was only when we realized these amounts were
totally falsified that I was able to identify him as James Kazilionis.
His MasterCard charge was actually charged $158.95
- (not $184.00 he lied about) with $149.00 representing merchandise
and $ 9.95 representing shipping, handling and insurance. We did not
charge him $11.95 for shipping. He
inflated the actual charges by over TWENTY FIVE dollars. Truth is, when my attorney contacted him with his own MasterCard
receipts - he ceased and became a mute coward. He is the type of dirt bag
you have protect yourself from when you are in business.
Even when personally confronted by me on the Corvette
Forum CEUin82 James Kazilionis became a mute, yet perverted phony
coward. He though he could hide.
