September 9-11 2005 Corvettes at McDorman's
Friday and Saturday night there was a cruise in with live music.
Both nights the 50's music was excellent and on Saturday night Elvis performed. Several hundred makes and models were on display.

The band had the front half of an old street rod on stage as part of their set up. One of the singers performed behind this old car.

This 1954 was driven to the cruise and had an NCRS pedigree.

My wife liked this purple C5 with the flip up doors.

I liked this old 1955 Chevrolet Gasser. The decals said it was an old national record holder.

Saturday this custom C5 was on hand. It was presented as a Shark. The nose was extended quite a bit.

This same Shark was offered as a kit with this rear cap featuring an extended longer rear, integral spoiler and recessed tail lamps.

If you didn't like the Corvettes and more at Bob McDorman's, you just ain't a Car guy.
