September 9-11 2005 Corvettes at McDorman's
  Note the fiberglass passengers side cockpit cover over the seat and the hump it projects to clear the raised dash and speaker underneath.  
  These smooth head lamp covers are one the main features that define this Mule test Corvette. The large fin is the other main identifying feature.  
  The tail fin is simply mounted to the trunk and deck lid with screws about every 8" apart. Note the lack of exhaust tips on this side exhaust model (barely visible by the rear wheel).  
  Another view of the tail fin showing the upholstered head rest. No doubt the fin must be removed to open either the deck lid or the trunk lid.  
  The small low plexi glass wind shield is also screwed on, but also has a Black rubber weatherstrip for sealing to the body. No one yet refers to the seat dividers as a waterfall.  
  Note the 3 speed shifter, knob, boot and trim. The helmet would certainly also be special if it were the one that Zora used in the testing. I don't know if that is true.  
  This view shows the steering column mounted 8000 RPM tachometer, later found on stock 1957 FI models with high HP.  
  A close up of that 8000 RPM tachometer. I regret the speedometer is blurry as the mileage indicated is low. And I CRS what the mileage number was.
