Do they eat their young?

John Amwert one of the founding members of the NCRS was to deliver an address at this summers 30th Annual National Convention in Park City Utah this July 2005. John, membership #4's topic was the 1955-1956 GM paperwork surrounding the early covert assistance to private Corvette racers. Recently however, he was booted before the speech. Because? Nobody will say. And that announcement was even deleted from the NCRS web site.

Too me that is not really that surprising, since #3 Noland Adams has had no presence within the NCRS organization for years. They must eat the oldest members. I guess I'm safe for a while, at #2473

There were 8 or so founders of the organization:

Gary Mortimer, Sam Folz (RIP), Noland Adams and John Amwert are all accounted for. But the other four; Chess, Kellog, Essig and Campbell don't seem to be involved anymore. Where did they all go and why? I really don't think they moved on to another American or foreign sports car.
