Jan 2006 Old Town, FL 28th NCRS Regional
Every flavor from bottom to the top: Vanilla, Lime, Copper, Cherry, Cherry, Black Cherry and a couple more Vanilla's. They really were delicious. The Lime, Copper and Black Cherry engines are below.
I really liked this Harvest Gold 1955. It was one of only Six Tripower Stovebolt 6 cylinders built during 1955, the year the V8 debuted in Corvettes.
This is the exception. Of the 700 1955 models produced, only 6 were not V8s. Saying, you seldom get a chance to look at these is no exaggeration.
This is another 1955 beauty in Corvette Copper with a Beige interior.
This Copper 1955 was a V8. Note the chrome domed coffee can shield around the distributor. I threw away those hexagonal vacuum advance pods in my stupidity decades ago.
The firewall mounted coil also has a chromed shielding cover. Note the tach drive and tach cable behind the generator. Above the air cleaner, a valve in a heater hose.
This manual shut off valve controls the flow of water through the heater core. Why they were not also factory installed on most all later Corvettes is a mystery.

Above a beautiful Onyx Black 1957 with FI. The only defect I noticed was the wrong part numbered upper radiator hose.

At Old Town there are rides for all ages.

These 1958's with trunk irons are a favorite, and in Regal Turquoise this photo does not do justice to this color.
